The Lazy Loft began in a small Bangalore workshop in 2013, where three brothers still cut, joined and upholstered every frame themselves. What started as commissions for friends grew into a studio serving homes across India — but the pace, the standards, and the hands stayed the same.

Sourcing
FSC-certified teak and oak from Karnataka & Kerala are graded, kiln-dried, and rested for 6 weeks.
Frame joinery
Mortise-and-tenon corners with hardwood dowels — every load-bearing joint is glued, screwed and bolted.
Suspension
Hand-tied 8-way pocket springs on webbed jute. The seat you sit on today is the seat you'll sit on in 2046.
Cushioning
High-density HR foam wrapped in feather-blend inner covers for that first-sit sink without collapse over time.
Upholstery
One tailor takes one sofa from pattern to final stitch — no assembly-line handoffs.
